From Passion Project to Floral Studio
Bee Inspired Events was founded in 2014 by floral specialist and creative director Maya Bosnjak. What began as a joyful side project soon blossomed into a full-time studio built on passion, creativity, and commitment. Inspired by the beauty of nature and guided by a love for design, Maya envisioned a place where floral artistry could elevate life’s most meaningful moments.
Over the years, that vision has grown into a trusted name in Washington, D.C. and beyond—recognized for its refined aesthetic, attention to detail, and deeply personal approach. Bee Inspired Events was founded in 2014 by floral specialist and creative director Maya Bosnjak. Over the years, Bee Inspired Events has been honored to have its work featured in some of the most prestigious publications and platforms in the wedding and event industry. From Washingtonian and Washingtonian Weddings to People Magazine, Style Me Pretty, Muna Luchi Bride, Canvas Rebel, and United With Love, our designs have been celebrated for their artistry and originality. These features reflect the passion, quality, and dedication we bring to every single event.
We are also proud to have designed the florals for the Wall Street Journal’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner for the past several years — an experience that continues to inspire and challenge us in the best ways. Beyond that, our work is regularly seen at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, and many of the Smithsonian museums across Washington, D.C.
We frequently work with upscale and popular brands, like Hermès, Ferrari and H&M. Our permanent installations can be seen at many DC restaurants and hotels, such as Marriott and Yours Truly.
